Deborah Rae Henry, 67, of Oakmont, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Henry; beloved sister of David (Susan) Henry and Susan (Garry) Lavely; aunt of Jonathan and Matthew Henry, Michael and Stephen Lavely and Alicia Hicks; great aunt of Maya Ray and Ethan Hicks.

Deborah was dedicated and baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her strong faith gave her confidence in the Bible’s promise for a better world to come. One of her favorite scriptures describing this world is Psalms 37: 11, which says, “But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace”. This hope and faith kept her strong through her life despite a long struggle with her mental health issues.

I met Debbie many years ago when my brother married her sister Susan. She was a very kind & loving person who loved her God Jehovah with her whole heart. She looked forward to a time when the earth would be made new into a paradise & God would do away with all our suffering, and there would be a resurrection of those who have died, she held that promise close to her heart! I look forward to seeing her again. Revelation 21:3,4 My deepest sympathy extended to Sue & family.

Dear friends, I am very, very sad to hear of your loss! I am Jennifer Armstrong, the daughter of the late Bob & Polly Bernhardt of Cheswick congregation. I have soooo many fond memories of Debbie & her mom Mary. Truly genuine & lovely friends who I can wait to see in the resurrection. As a young person I attended book study for many years at their home in Oakmont. Mary even had a 25th Anniversary Party at her house for my parents. May you be comforted by the words of Job 14:14, 15. Jehovah ‘will call,’ & Debbie & Mary will answer. He truly ‘longs’ for this time. May your hope be “as an anchor for the soul.” — Hebrews 6:19 And may you “trust in Jehovah with all your heart.” — Proverbs 3:5, 6 We love you dear friends ❤️❤️❤️ You will be in our prayers. Jennifer, Thank you so much for your kind words of remembrance and comfort. Debbie's years with mom and the book study were her best. Its so nice to know you have fond memories of that time. In Jehovah's mercy she will now be sleeping through what's to come. We are so close and that means seeing her and all our loved ones is near. Mary Lynn, I'm so glad you somehow saw this! I have thought of you and Kimberly and Jennifer so many times through the years. I tried to find you when my mother passed and when I realized your mother had passed. I have fond memories of you and your sisters too! I always enjoyed your mother and her sense of humor.
