Denise E. Boyd

Denise Eileen Boyd, 73, of Gibsonia, formerly of Troy Hill, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, just days before her 74th birthday.

Born on June 29, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Denise was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Marjorie Heflin.

For 52 wonderful years, Denise shared a loving marriage with her devoted husband, William “Bill” Boyd. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and countless cherished memories. Denise was a caring and devoted wife whose kindness, warmth, and unwavering support touched everyone who knew her.

Denise was the proud and loving mother of two sons, Scott William Boyd and Kurt Thomas Boyd. Raising her boys was one of her greatest joys, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family. She took immense pride in watching her family grow and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill Boyd; her sons, Scott William Boyd and Kurt Thomas Boyd; her siblings, Kenneth Heflin Sr., Robert Heflin, and Janet Muzzin; four cherished grandchildren, including Lincoln, Gavin, Miles and Penny Boyd; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Heflin Jr., her sister, Marcia Stewart.

Denise will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted wife, and caring friend. Her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and dedication to those she loved will remain a lasting legacy. She and Bill especially enjoyed camping together over the years, creating treasured memories through their many adventures and time spent in the outdoors.

Though deeply missed, Denise’s love and influence will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Burial will take place at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
