Diana Isabel (Gittings) Leming, age 73, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 27, 2020. Loving mother of Elizabeth A. and Russell W. Leming; grandmother of Chelsea R. (Jack Jones) Leming, Jasmine M. (Emani R.) Wade, Marina T. Hawkins, Maximus, and Olivia; great-grandchildren of Elijah Jones.

Born to Edwin and Isabela, Diana spent her 73 years loving Pittsburgh. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967 with a degree in Arts and was a proud Kappa Delta sister. She went on to marry Harold R. Leming Jr. and birthed two children, who went on to bless her with 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was a devoted homemaker and spent her life loving and supporting her family, friends, and those around her. She lived in her kitchen making sure that no one went hungry because she knew food was the way to your heart. There isn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for others while she was alive. She had a knack for life and an outrageous sense of humor. Her smile and laugh would light up even the darkest of rooms. There wasn’t a day that would go by that she wouldn’t pick up the phone to check on you. She loved unconditionally with her whole heart and all she ever asked for in return was kindness and love. She will be sorely missed.

Diana’s favorite color was green. She sported the color all the time and even painted the walls in just about every room in her home green. To help celebrate her life, family asks that attendees to her memorial sport some garment of green.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12:00-2:00pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm both at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to https://www.pittsburghfoodbank.org and help Diana continue her good nature feeding others.

Sending love and prayers to all of you at this time. It's never easy when someone we love transitions but we can always find comfort in their memories. Although I can not attend the service I will wear green in honor of her. Praying peace and comfort for the family. Love, The Smith Family

To you the Lemington family I am saddened to hear of the loss of your love one and I send my sincere condolences to you all. I will keep you all in my constant prayer. The Bible states that absent from the body means present with the lord. Rest In Peace Mrs. Diane.
