Diane “Dee” Keffel

Diane “Dee” Keffel, age 73, of Monessen formerly of West Newton, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024. Born on August 7, 1951, she was the beloved daughter of the late Virginia Schwab.

Dee was a devoted mother to Jason (Jill) Keffel and a cherished grandmother to Ross and Noah Throckmorton. She is also survived by her close friends Joe and Donna Dalfonso.

She grew up in West Newton, PA, later moving to Monessen where she raised her son.  She became known for her unwavering dedication to social work. She spent many years with SPHS, in both Monessen and Charleroi before retiring.

Dee had a passion for gardening, enjoyed walking her dog, Meatball, and was renowned for her exceptional cooking skills. Her warmth and love extended beyond her family, touching the lives of everyone she met.

All services will be private, entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation, McMurray, PA. Dee’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
