Dianne M. Duffy, age 87, of Valencia, PA and formerly of Lower Burrell, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Dianne is the beloved wife of Roger E. Duffy. Born on May 18, 1937, in Blue Island, IL, she is the daughter of the late Harry and Exilda Malm. She is the loving mother of Janet (the late Greg) Gillespie, Karen (Greg) Pennell, and the late Robert (Rita) Duffy; cherished grandmother of Connor Smith, Alexandra (Spencer) Marshall and Eric and Cameron Gillespie; great-grandmother of Kyler Marshall; sister of Sharyn Austin and the late Norma Jean Hebel.
She was a beacon of warmth and affection, embodying the role of a loving mother, treasured grandmother, and a devoted friend. Her life was a testament to the value she placed on family, which was the cornerstone of her existence. Her devotion to her loved ones was evident in the way she nurtured and supported them, creating a legacy of love and connection that will endure.
Her zest for life extended beyond her family relationships. She remained active and engaged with her passions throughout her years. Even into her 70s, she embraced the thrill of skiing, a testament to her adventurous and energetic nature. Her enthusiasm for tennis was equally impressive; she continued to play with vigor and skill until the age of 85, showing her enjoyment of life.
She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
