Early on Friday morning, August 4th, Dolores “Do” Ann Miles passed away in her home peacefully and surrounded by loved ones. She was 79 years old.

Dolores was born December 11, 1937 to Bertha and Enrique Quaresima in Canonsburg, PA of which she grew up, spent most of her life, and raised her son, Jeffery Miles.

Dolores was a remarkable woman throughout her life; from her crowning of prom queen in high school, to blossoming into a mother that worked tirelessly to provide for household, family, and sons (Jeffery Miles and the late James Reynolds.). However, it wasn’t only through blood that Dolores found family in; she opened up her home and heart to everyone with welcoming arms. She even embraced three young children: Gwenneth, Delilah, and Harper as if they were her own grandchildren, and their mother, Julie Wardigo, as if she were her daughter. Dolores could make anyone feel like they belonged.
Dolores was loved by many as it was proven through the outpouring of help, care, and encouragement. Her final days were pleasant, comfortable, and filled with love due to the diligence of her devoted son Jeffery.
Dolores lives through and is survived by her son, Jeffery Scott Miles, her younger sister Gloria Dvorak and her husband Bill, her nephew Bill Dvorak and his family, her niece Rebecca Dvorak and her family, and the countless friends and strangers lives she’s touched. She will be carried through us.  A memorial service and dinner to celebrate Dolores’ life will be held at The Italian Independent Club at: 283 Muse-Bishop Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317, on ThursdayAugust 17th at 4pm.
