Dolores Marie Rufft

Dolores Rufft, 98, of Bethel Park died peacefully at home on Thursday, April 2, 2026. She was born March 29, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA to her parents Cecelia (Obringer) and Victor Decker. Dolores was married for over 55 years to her beloved husband, the late Charles “Jack” Rufft.

Dolores was preceded in death by all of her siblings and in-laws; sister of Millie Strittmatter, Ralph Decker, Ed Decker, Marie Noar, Celine Decker, Jerry Decker, Bernadette Kaslewicz, and Clarita Decker; sister-in-law of the late Narene Schmitz, Dolores Werntges, and Robert Rufft.

Loving mother of Janet Snapp, David Rufft (Lisa), Diane Clark and Jerry Rufft (Joanne) and the late James E. Rufft (Laura); grandmother of Carrie Buss (Brian), Mark Luxbacher (Kray), Jimmy Luxbacher (Amy), Jennalee Fede (Mike), Steven Clark, Kelsey Panich (Keith), and Jason Rufft; and also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who have known her throughout her long life.  She will be laid to rest at a later date alongside Jack at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Family and friends can honor her memory by making a donation to your local Food Bank.
