Dolores Sexton, 83, of Bethel Park, PA, formerly of Brackney, PA, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 with her son and daughter by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John Sexton, with whom she shared 26 wonderful years of marriage. Born on September 7, 1942, in Scranton, PA, Dolores was the cherished daughter of the late Eleanor and Raymond Hardy.
Dolores was a devoted and loving mother to Gail Quigley Smith (Tim) and Scott Quigley; Stepmother to Nancy Dailey (Edward), Susan Stella (Craig), and Donna Connery (Doug); Sister to Renee Pelczar (John) and Dale Hardy (Cheryl); Grandmother to Andrea O’Doud (Fintan), Michael Stella, Edward Dailey (Lex), Jonathan Dailey, and Natalie Dailey, Riley Smith, Thomas Smith, and William Smith;  Great-grandmother to Fiadh O’Doud; She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Along with her parents and husband, Dee was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Hardy (Lorraine) and her beloved in-laws, Jack and Alta Quigley.
Dee dedicated over 30 years of service to IBM in Endicott, NY. She will be fondly remembered for her love of swimming, especially at Pop’s Hobby Lake where she lived, her walks around the lake, and the joy she found in spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards and board games, bingo, reading, and dancing. Dee loved to travel and had many favorite places, including Canoe Lake in Canada, Myrtle Beach, and time spent in Florida, Texas, and Arizona. She especially enjoyed going on cruises and exploring new places.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Artis Memory Care for the compassionate care they provided during Dolores’s final months. All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
