Dolores was a shining light in the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. I knew no one else who was so faithful and obedient. She was a blessing.

Ms. Ammons was my home-ec teacher for many years. She taught me how to sew, crochet and to cook. She spent a lot of time helping me sew my prom dress. What a great teacher. RIP.

I had the privilege of knowing Ms. Ammons as a teacher and also later as a neighbor. She was always so very kind and gracious to me (even as a young mother with a wailing baby living next door to her!) and to everyone around her. She was the true embodiment of faith in every aspect of her life. She will be missed.

Dolores "Miss Dolores" Ammons was an excellent servant for our Lord. She made a significant impact on me as a committed Christian woman and as a trusted friend. Whenever i had the priviledge to be near her when she prayed, she faithfully mentioned so many in her prayers. Miss Dolores exemplified Galatians 5:22-23. I thank God for her...and will miss her til we meet again.

I had Miss Dolores as a Sunday school teacher over 20 years ago. She was such a blast and so, so kind. I didn’t often look forward to church but when Miss Dolores was involved, I couldn’t wait. Rest in peace, sweet soul!
