Donna Marie Gorby, age 75, of Cokeburg passed peacefully surrounded by friends and family on May 6, 2022.
Born on November 24, 1946 to William (Weezer) and Rose Marie Merashoff in Monongahela. Loving wife of 29 years to Harry Gorby. Cherished mother to Lori (Bob) Soukup, Kimberly (Roland) Yannacci, and Joseph (Tawnja) Timlin. Beloved grandmother to Ashley, Amber, Apryl, Karissa, Kylee, Jocelyn, Jerzy, Jaylen and Jantz. Adored great-grandmother to Jayden, Loghan, Kaden, Kayson, Knoxx, Knash, Kneriah, Knyxon, Ryan, and Ryder. Dear sister to William (Billy) Merashoff, and preceded in death by her sister Debra Ann Lewis, brother Richard Merashoff, and grand daughter Melissa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donna loved bingo, baking, and cooking. She also enjoyed listening to oldies music and watching cooking and game shows. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at a future date.
