Doris F. Imlay

Doris F. Imlay, 87, of Bridgeville, died peacefully April 4, 2018 at home. She was the beloved wife of Don Imlay, her predeceased husband of 37 years. She was born June 2, 1930 in Pittsburgh to John and Leah Forry, and was the beloved mother of Daniel (Jean) Imlay, James (Kari) Imlay, and Andrew (Tyrone) Imlay; sister of Virginia Robboy, June Wallace, and Bruce Forry; grandmother of Samantha Imlay, Hannah (Travis Martin) Imlay, Leah Imlay, Sam Imlay, and Eli Imlay; and great-grandmother of Jonah Martin.

Doris was the center of communication for many decades for family and friends both overseas and at home; was a second mother to several; and loved tutoring immigrants in English as a second language. She loved reading, particularly history, and cherished her education at University of Pittsburgh.
