She also worked at Upper St Clair High School as a Teacher’s Aid for quite a few years. Rowene visited Ireland several times where she met many cousins who welcomed her warmly. She loved to sit in front of the fire with a cup of good Irish tea.
Mom, our lives will forever be changed without you. You are the most loving, caring soul we will ever know. Your memory will shine on always.
A Memorial Mass will be held Sat. Feb 3rd, 2018 at 11AM at St. John Capistran Church 1610 McMillan Rd, Upper St. Clair, followed there by a gathering of friends and family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Upper St. Clair Library where she spent many happy hours.

Thinking of all of you, and wishing I could have been in Pittsburgh today for her Mass. Rowene was such a wonderful lady, so kind, loving and enthusiastic in her love for family and Ireland. She shared so much with all of us cousins, introducing many of us to each other. Her passion for Galway and family was infectious. I will always treasure my memories of Rowene, and wish you all my deepest condolences.
