Dorothy Frances Jannelli, 65, of Peters Township, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026. Born on January 11, 1961, in Philadelphia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Anthony (Mary) Sofio Jannelli and Frances Mary DiPietro.

She was the beloved wife of Clyde Arillotta for 37 years: Devoted mother to James J. Arillotta, Jonathan C. Arillotta, Frank A. Arillotta, and Janel F. Arillotta; Loving sister to Mary Ann Fritsky, Angela Orzechowski (Chester), Paul Jannelli (Toni), and Peter Jannelli (Linda). She is survived by her uncle, Salvatore Fiorello (Emily DiVento), along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her stepmother, Mary Fiorello, and her beloved uncle, James Fiorello.

All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.

I offer my sibcere condolences to Dorothy's family and friends. I had the privilege of working with Dorothy, as well as becoming her friend. Dorothy was fiercely protective of patient rights and made every effort to give the best care decisions. She was kind, funny and respectful of all. Godspeed, Dorothy.

I never really saw much of Aunt Dorothy as an adult for myriad reasons, but I remember her fondly from my childhood. My thoughts are with Uncle Clyde and their kids at this difficult time.
