Douglas R. Warman

Douglas Warman went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 25, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 23, 1971, to the late Hugh and Grace Warman. 

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Warman. 

Douglas had a curious mind and was known for always asking questions. His inquisitive nature reflected his genuine interest in people and the world around him. He found joy in the simple things in life and loved spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing, working in his garden, or simply enjoying nature. 

A lifelong motorcycle lover and an avid guitar player, Doug, embraced the freedom and happiness both brought him. He was especially proud of his career as a licensed CDL truck driver, dedicating more than 35 years to the profession with pride and commitment. 

Family and friends will fondly remember Doug for his famous “Pappy Eggs “his own special twist on deviled eggs that became a favorite at family gatherings. It was one of the many ways he showed his love through sharing time, laughter, and good food. 

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Warman; his children, Bryan (Tiffany) Warman, Shane Warman, Ashlee Starr, and Justin Warman; his stepchildren, Brandon (Tiffany) Ditty, Benjamin (Tasha) Cyphert, and Brianna (Naomi) Cyphert; his 11 beautiful grandchildren; his sisters, Linda Warman, Karen Warman Smith, and Carol Warman Conner; his best friend of more than 55 years, Robert Chase; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. 

Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Douglas’s life on Sunday, June 28, 2026, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Restoration Christian Church, 1040 East Windhaven Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. 

Though Douglas will be deeply missed, his love for his family, his unwavering work ethic, his adventurous spirit, and the countless memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. 

The family wants to give acknowledgements to how wonderful their church family has been throughout this entire process as the family enters this new chapter of their life.
