Very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. At asthma camp there was no doubt of his love for helping kids. He was an amazing friend and supporter for all staff. Forever in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless..

SSG Dave Brown was my dear friend at the 556th Medical Company at Ft. Dix, NJ. I remember riding around in his gold, Datsun 280z, which he meticulously cared for. He had a RCA movie disc machine that played movies on large discs, probably a collectible now. I often visited him and watched movies. Dave was a cross the T, dot the i kind of guy. As our training officer, everything was just perfection. He often talked about missing his daughter Kim.He was a collector of West Virginia and Salem College T-shirt’s!! and was proud of The Mountaineers. I’m so sorry He is no longer with us. He was a compassionate man and someone I admired . I have often thought about my many years in the military and get nostalgic, I’m just so saddened that when I finally decided to google Dave, that meant so much to me, I discovered it was much too late. My sympathies to his daughter Kim. You meant so much to him.
