Earl R. Barkand Jr.

Earl Richard Barkand Jr., 83, of Bethel Park, PA passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026. Born on July 19, 1942 in Canonsburg, PA he is the son of the late Earl Sr. and Frances Barkand.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Flora Barkand; Loving father to Lori (Peter) Salko and Earl “Rich” Barkand III; Grandfather to Shelby (Trevor) Zimmerman and Trevor Magee; Great-grandfather to Titus Zimmerman; He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Earl found great joy in working in his garden, spending time outdoors, and appreciating the beauty in everyday life. He also loved visiting his home in Avon Park, Florida, a place that truly became his happy place.

A service will be held on May 29, 2026 at 11am at John McMillan Presbyterian Church, 875 Clifton Road, Bethel Park, PA, 15102. All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
