Edward “Ed” M. Lantz

Edward “Ed” M. Lantz, age 68, South Hills Native, passed away peacefully Friday, August 2, 2024.

Born on May 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Joan F. And Edward P. Lantz.

He was the beloved husband of 39 year to Marianne Duvall Lantz; loving father of Kara (Dan) Dantry, Katie Lantz, Kurt (Kelly) Lantz, Kris Lantz, and Kody (Rebecca) Lantz; proud grandfather of Madi, Hayden and Levi; dear brother of Mark (Lynn) Lantz and Linda (Chris) Miller; uncle of Matthew Lantz, Ian (Alejandra) Miller and Ross Lantz.

For the last 39 years, Ed looked forward to traveling to Hilton Head with his family. He enjoyed golfing. Ed developed strong relationships in the title insurance industry, while working for LandAmerica (29 years) and most recently Madison Settlement Services.  He was a member of the board of directors for Mortgage Brokers, NAOP & FIN.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 10 am at Resurrection Parish, St. Thomas More Church, 126 Fort Couch Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
