Emily Ann Hezlep

Emily Ann Hezlep, 76 of Carnegie, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Louis and Stella Fleck; beloved wife of the late Donald Hezlep; loving mother of Albert F. Hodgkiss, Jr.; sister of the late Louis Fleck and Mary Jane Spratt; grandmother of Nicholas B. Hodgkiss and Georgia Ann Hodgkiss; great grandmother of Hailey; Aunt of Dale, Mary Jane, Carol, and the late Thomas Spratt, Larry and Randy Fleck. She also leaves behind her best friend Bonnie Paff.

Emily was a very passionate and active animal lover. She was a member of Help for Homeless Pets and rescued numerous dogs and cats from desperate situations and shelters. A certain number found a permanent home with her and even her mother. Emily’s devotion to animals was unlimited. She leaves behind her beloved latest rescues Lilly Lou, and Holly Sue. Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
