Esther C. Mayhugh

Esther C. Mayhugh, 63, of West Mifflin, formerly of the North Side, passed away suddenly on November 21, 2025. Born on April 25, 1962 in Pittsburgh, she is the daughter of Marion Davis and the late Thomas Benner.

Beloved mother of Heather (Regis Coleman) Martuseavich and Rae Ann Mayhugh; Loving sister to Vicki (John) Bittner; Mimi to Rachael and Jessica; Aunt to Beth Ann Desiderio and Jill Sobkiewicz; She is also survived by her dog, Max.

Esther was a devoted mother, a natural caretaker, and someone whose kindness touched everyone around her. She spent her life putting others first, always offering a helping hand. In her spare time, Esther enjoyed visiting the casino with her family. Above all, her greatest joy came from being a mother. She was endlessly proud of her children and devoted her life to their happiness and well-being.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4pm-7pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care (Peters Township), 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317 with a blessing service at 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Esther’s honor to Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
