Frances Mary Quinlan, 82, of Upper St. Clair, PA, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 2, 1943, in Franklin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Pat and Frances Healy.

Fran was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Quinlan; cherished mother of Monique Galvin, Elaine (Vance) DuVall, and Robert (Karen) Quinlan; and devoted grandmother to Sammi and Seamus Galvin, Ashley Quinlan, and Harry DuVall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Travers.

A longtime member of St. Louise de Marillac Church, Fran’s deep faith was the anchor of her life. She found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments—lunch dates with friends, afternoons at the movies, and any opportunity to be close to the people she loved. She had a passion for painting and the arts, treasured time outdoors in nature, and shared a special bond with her dogs throughout her life.

Fran and Bob embraced a life full of adventure. She cherished traveling with him to bridge tournaments across the country, enjoying cruises together, and making visits to California to spend time with family. These trips brought her great happiness, and the memories remained dear to her.

Known for her warm smile and friendly spirit, Fran had a remarkable way of making others feel welcomed and valued. She made friends easily, greeting everyone with kindness and genuine interest. Above all, her greatest joy came from her family. She was famous for her legendary Christmas stockings—thoughtful, joy-filled gifts that became a beloved family tradition and made every recipient feel remembered and loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louise de Marillac Church on Friday December 12 at 10:30am, with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Everybody please meet at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Louise de Marillac Church, 320 McMurray Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.

I met Fran through the Landmark Seminars many years ago. She became a trusted confidant and nurturing ear through the many classes we took together. Often, after class, a few of the ladies would meet for coffee at the Eat n Park, and discuss our wonderful possibilities for the future. She was a source of inspiration, and always truly authentic in our interactions. A woman of great generosity, love and integrity. Her peaceful spirit impacts me still.
