Frank E. Knoerdel

Formerly of Venetia, Pa, age 92; lost a brave battle with cancer on March 10, 2021.

Frank is survived by his three sons; Chris, Mark & Jon, many grand children, nieces & nephews & great grand children and his companion Marion Ludwig.

Frank was predeceased by his wife Frances and all of his siblings.

Frank was born in Carnegie, served as the weatherman in the navy for 2 years and returned home to obtain a degree in journalism from the University of Pittsburgh. Frank went on to pursue a career in marketing where he became president of Gateway Marketing Services.

Frank was an avid reader who was also passionate about writing, golf, travel abroad & the Steelers.
