Franklin “Butch” Winters, 79, of Washington, PA passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026. Born on December 26, 1946 in Washington, PA he is the son of the late Homer and Helen.

Beloved husband to Theresa Maccherola Winters for 58 years; Loving father to Tina (Terry) Grayson, Jodi (David) Perrache, Frankie (John) Kraft; Pap to Amanda, Frank Michael, Laci, Terri Lynn, Brandon, and Bradley; Brother to Jim Winters, David Winters, and Bob (Rebecca) Winters; He is also survived by his great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Homer Franklin Winters.

Butch was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was a dedicated employee of Precision Marshall Steel for over 30 years. Whether helping a friend, supporting local causes, or sharing his time in various organizations, Butch believed in being involved and making a difference.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 4pm-8pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317. A blessing service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 12:30pm, followed by burial with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:30pm.
