Franklin “Frank” Henry, Sr.

Franklin Henry, Sr.  80, of Robinson Township (formerly of Elliott), passed away on January 16, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Greer) Henry for 53 years; loving father of Kristina Henry (Dennis Fleet) and Frank Henry Jr.; and “Pap” to Alexandra Ingold and Rich Ingold Jr.

Frank is also survived by brothers-in-law Tom and Steve Greer; sisters-in-law Theresa Craig, Diane Greer, Eileen Chapman, and Maureen Lemankiewicz; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Foble and Helen Henry; brother Foble “Butch” Henry; sisters Pauline Kruger, Norma Jean Aiken, Jacqueline Donaldson, Phoebie Hzero, Patricia Artiszewski, and Bernadette Bailey; and brother-in-law Douglas Greer and sisters-in-law Kathleen Pintell, Rosemary Thomas, and Susie Rizza.

A U.S. Marine and Vietnam Veteran, Frank was a retired Teamster, Local 341. He enjoyed time at camp, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, visiting local clubs, American Legions and VFWs, and drinking beer. His favorite dance move was “The Montour Shuffle.” He was a member of the “Gas House Boys” of Montour. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 9:00 am until the time of the Blessing Service at 12:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. Burial with full military honors will be held at 1:00 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
