Franklin W. Wischmann, 83 of McDonald, formerly of Oakdale, passed peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his loving wife June Ellen and his son Ronald James Wischmann. Franklin is survived by his sons Franklin W. (Sharon), Jr. and Michael Wischmann; daughter Marjorie B. (Marty) Siegert; grandsons Jonathan and Christopher.

Known to most as the “plaster man” his children were often approached and asked if they were related. His love and loyalty for his family and friends was like no other. In the summer months you could find him on the back-country roads picking berries. In the fall he would gather walnuts. He was famous for his black walnut waffles. Our parents may be gone, but they will never be forgotten. They are now together, dancing to their song “Through the Years” by Kenny Rodgers. Love you forever and always.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
