Gary Richard Talpas, 71, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully in his home after a lengthy illness on June 9, 2022.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Talpas.
Loving husband of Pam Talpas for 46 years; cherished father of Kyra Vettorel, Jeremy (Brandy) Talpas, Joshua Talpas and Daria (Randy) Litster; adored grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; dear brother of Darrell (Tammy) Talpas, Mark (Carol) Talpas, Nina (Mike) Strickland and Ksenia (Gordon) Kwasniewski; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gary was at his happiest when he was with his grandchildren and was proud of the fact that he gave every grandchild their first taste of chocolate. In recent years, you could find him working with his son remodeling homes and working with his daughter where he proudly earned his nickname “TinMan.” He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Per Gary’s wishes, there will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
