Gary was a dear childhood friend of mine growing up on Maplewood Road as well as a classmate at Crile Elementary School. Though we did not stay in touch after I moved to Middleburg Heights, I never forgot the many fond memories of our youth including the many impromptu pickup football games and baseball games at "The Field." To his immediate and extended family, please accept my condolences over Gary's sudden passing. May God give you strength in these difficult times. Rest in Peace, Gary.

My prayers go out Gary's entire family. Gary and I grew up together in Parma and he was one of my very first friends in life. We went to the same elementary school (Crile) and spent our summers playing baseball daily at a field down from the Rupert home on Maplewood and driving to the Browns summer camp together to watch practice before the season started. My memories of Gary give me a warm feeling and the best way to describe him from those days was he was a great friend and a good person. His passing leaves a hole as we didn't stay connected over the years. My very best to his family.
