Gaye M. Brickell

Gaye M. Brickell, age 87, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry S. Brickell.

Gaye was born on March 21, 1938, in Stanley, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late T.C. and Merle Moore.

She was a loving mother to Harry “Steve” (Bonnie) Brickell and Barbara (Eric). Gaye was a proud grandmother to Stephanie (the late Edward) Britton, Steven (Chelsea) Brickell, C.J. Brickell, Tanner Brickell, Melody Batchelor. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Azyara, Emonie, Jayceon, Waylon, Gavin, Mason, Kyle, Naomi, Kierstin, Leland, and Mylee.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Carolyn, Sandra, and Doris, and her granddaughter, Melissa Morse.

Gaye had a lifelong love of reading and was rarely seen without a book in her hand. She retired after many years as a dedicated school bus driver, a role she took great pride in. Above all, Gaye will be remembered for her unconditional love, which she freely gave to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
