George A. Maers “GA”

George A. Maers “GA”, age 80 of Venetia, PA passed away with family by his side on May 8, 2021.
Born on October 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of George and Edna Maers.
Beloved husband of Joyce Maers; loving father of Jackie (Jeff) Dickey and Justin Reed; grandfather of Cassy Dickey and Travis Dickey; and brother of Donald (Barb) Maers.

He was a proud veteran and member of American Legion Post 949. Member of Pittsburgh CARS club. GA enjoyed car cruises, gardening, hunting and his hot rod.

There will be a service at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors at a later date.
