I am so sorry everyone - I know how much he was loved and cherished, and how much he will be missed. I will keep you in my prayers Betty, but I know your family will always be there for you. You had many, many happy years with him, and I know you feel truly blessed. I hope your tears will eventually turn to smiles when you remember him and your wonderful life together. My deepest sympathy to Betty and family. I will always hold George close in my heart. He was more like a brother to me than an uncle. He helped me throughout my childhood and was always my dear friend. I will remember George with fondness and love for all the wonderful things he helped me with during our lives together. He will be dearly missed!

He taught me so many things growing up and somehow managed to always be positive with me no matter how much of a brat I was at times. I'll always remember the fishing, hunting, golfing, and our trips to the Adirondacks every summer. All the "chores" lists I had whenever I came to visit and never minding doing any of them. Thank you for everything you taught and did with me Grandpa, I love you. Heaven gained an Angel this past Friday.
