George Watts

George Watts, 93 of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Edinboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh on August 28, 1930 to Stephen and Anna Watts. George was an avid reader and enjoyed biographies and history. He was a 32nd degree Mason, member of the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center, the Scottish Rite, and the Syria Shriners. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1948 until 1950.

Loving father of Pamela J. (the late Harry) Haney of Copley, Ohio, Kimberly J. Watts of Pittsburgh, and George S. (Joyce) Watts of Eagle Bay, New York. Brother of the late Steven (Ann) Watts. Grandfather of Jeffrey A. (Christal) Haney of Mansfield, Ohio, Stephanie L. Haney of Copley, Ohio, and Stacy L. (Ron) Pence of Mansfield, Ohio. Great-grandfather of Mason A. and Sarah M. Haney.

Burial and service with military honors will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
