Georgette Kerner, age 94, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025.

Born on November 21, 1931, Georgette was the beloved daughter of the late Jane and Alphonse Reynier. She was the devoted wife of the late Harry “Bill” Kerner, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and family.

Georgette was a loving mother to Harry “Bill” (Connie) Kerner, Mary Jane Pifferetti, and the late Patricia Altieri. She was a cherished grandmother to Jennifer, Ashley, and Miranda (Chad), and a proud great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She was a dear sister to Allen Reynier and Judy (Carl) Luisi, and was predeceased by her brother Raymond Reynier. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Georgette found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to read, watch game shows, and took great pride in her role as a homemaker, enjoying cooking and keeping a warm, welcoming home for her family. Above all, she treasured time spent with her great-grandchildren, who were the light of her later years.

Georgette will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

I did not know her well but did spend time in her home to attend a wedding. I remember her as sweet and welcoming. May her memories bring smiles to all who loved her. Melinda
