Gerald C. Markovitch, age 73 of Pittsburgh, passed away November 25, 2018 at the VA Pittsburgh Health Center.

He was born on November 1, 1945.

Gerald was a proud US Army Veteran who served from 1965-1967.

He will be buried at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Full Military Honors.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317.

R I P you truly well loved man by everyone who crossed paths with in your lifetime. You showed me quite a happy, fun filled life the 4 plus years I had the pleasure of riding with. You've also introduced me to the finest of friends, who stand by & for each other. You are going to be so missed by all. Safe ride & Love you.

You will be missed greatly, you might not have been my blood but I will always consider you my uncle. I have so many memories with you and it bothers me not knowing that you passed away until it was too late. I don't think I ever got to say it but I love you. I hope you're up in heaven riding that good motorcycle looking down and know that you will be missed.

I was in the army with Gerald, served two tours in Vietnam with him in the same tent. co b. 4th medical btn. He did not care much for military life and was very vocal in expressing it and it was usually entertaining to listen to. He talked a lot about his life back in Pennsylvania and i hope when he got back there he found happiness.
