Gerald “Jerry” Preaux

Gerald Preaux, 74, of Cecil PA, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 22, 2026. Born on June 3, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA he is the son of the late George and Margaret Preaux.

Beloved husband to Linda Ledger Preaux for 54 years; Loving father to Jerry (Heidi) Preaux, Billie Jo Preaux, Bobbi Jo (William) Styperk; Pap to 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, George, Wayne, and Mark Preaux.

Jerry was a proud veteran of the Air National Guard, 171st Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at camp, fishing and hunting with family and friends. Jerry loved working on his cars and attending car shows, always finding an excuse to keep busy.

All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
