Gerald B. “Smitty” Smith

Gerald B. “Smitty” Smith passed peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, of Kennedy Township, Age 71, Beloved husband of 45 years to Gleneth Cheryl (Hamilton) Smith; Loving father of David B. Smith and Tamra L (the late Jeffrey) Rosenwald; Cherished grandfather of Cody (Cory), Colby, Cory, Colton and Connor Rosenwald; Son of the late Clyde and Lillian Smith; Brother of Wanda Korn, Clyde Jr., Alan, and the late Bill, Dale and Hal Smith. Smitty was a veteran of the United States Army and a proud member of the American Legion Post 862 in Robinson Township. He was awaiting the birth of his first great-grandchild in January of 2018. Smitty will be dearly missed by is canine companion of 10 years, Tara. Funeral Service at Restoration Church of Christ 1040 E. Windhaven Rd.
