I’ve been thinking of all the many good times we had the pleasure of enjoying Kat’s company! Kay was my friend before I was even born. my Mom and Dad asked the Kat to be my Godmother. Kat filled her role as being the best Godmother a child could ask for. Throughout my entire life, this women was there for me! We shared good and sorrowful times together! Maybe some would like to know a bit more of this kindhearted person. Kat introduced my stepmom Dolly to my Dad, whom she always called Peter cheater. The two lovebirds had a beautiful marriage for many years thanks to this introduction! Kat called my dad pops sometimes. When Kat was very young, she was in a terrible car accident. This caused a deformity of her hips. Kat was in a coma and my dad was there in her room when she woke up. Kat looked at my dad and called him pops. The nurses were so happy that Kat woke up and the name pops and Peter cheater stayed throughout all these years. Now here’s a very special memory that has always brought a smile to my face. My sister Roseanne had many medical problems which landed her in the hospital so many times. One time in particular Kat really wanted to cheer Roseanne up. So Kat did what she does the best! lol! Kat hired a male striptease dancer to entertain my sister. Roseanne was in a private room and was told that the nurses cooperated and enjoyed a little of the act too! Hope that brought a smile to your faces as well! Lo! Let me speak of my daughter Cindy’s wedding. Cindy had a beautiful outdoor wedding. To liven things up the Kat put on my daughter’s vale and had a cup in her hand going around asking people to give money to dance with the bride! This got people up on the dance floor and also got people to go to the bar for a drink! lol! There was never a dull moment being around the Kat! There was the time we were all on a cruise to the Bahamas. We had to take a small boat to the island. The boat was rocking due to all of the waves. I just wanted a bag by me, but the Kat was walking inside the boat as if she was on dry land. The motion of the waves didn’t bother her. I always marveled at how calm she remained while the boat was rocking away! Let me share another special time in Kat’s life. While Kat and my mom Genevieve, were on vacation in the southern part of Florida, my mom got sick and ended up in the hospital. Instead of going out and enjoying the vacation, Kat stayed with my mom, in the hospital, the entire vacation. This women had a heart of GOLD!!! Let me speak Of a funny side of the Kat. Me and Ed came down to visit her and she was so happy to see us! She gave us lottery tickets to scratch off while she was making a salad for us to eat. The comical part of this was that the lotto tickets were already scratched off! lol! She seriously asked us if we were winners ! Yes in a way we’re all winners because Kat brought so much laughter into our lives! On her many trips to our house here in New York, Kat would stop Off first thing in the morning for a loaf of freshly baked bread from Panera’s. Always making sure we were thought of! She loved sleeping on her “Happy Camper Sheets!” Kat was there crying right with me when my sister, my Mom, and my Dad left this world. Now I’m crying without her. There are so many stories I could speak of about the many years I’ve known Kat. One thing for sure is that I truly loved her! She is my last lifelong friend and now Kat knows the secrets of the afterworlds. May Gid find a place for this special lady! I guess I’ll end this by saying something the Kat would say, “ Go put an egg in your sock and beat it! “ Linda & Ed Jablonski
