Harry “Herky” Lee, 86, of Bridgeville, passed away at St. Clair Hospital following complications with compounding health issues. Born in Glen Hazel in 1939 to Harry Lee, Sr. and Geneva (Rankin) Lee, he was an athletic youth who graduated from Taylor Allderdice in 1957, and an Army vet who retired from the VA Hospital Hematology Department in the mid-90s. Following his retirement, he obtained a CDL license and drove school buses for the South Fayette Township School District for the next decade.

He was a world traveler and an avid animal lover who could often be seen walking through Hunting Ridge with his Weimaraner, Max, or in Fairview Park with his Chocolate Labs, Maize and Blue.

Preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Helga, he leaves behind to mourn his daughter, Dominique (Charles) Robinson, granddaughter, Gabby, grand-dogs, Cody and Cole, stepsons Andy Dospil and Andre Faucette, sisters Barbara, Judy, and Marilyn, ex-wife Caroline, and a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and even a great-great-great nephew.

In honoring his very specific wishes, there will not be a formal funeral or viewing. Therefore, in lieu of cards or flowers, please consider donating to your favorite pet rescue in his honor (South Hills Pet Rescue, Animal Friends, Humane Society, Bridge to Home, etc.).
