Harumi (Asai) Wilkins

Harumi (Asai) Wilkins, age 83 of Bulger, PA passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Born on March 31, 1935 in Hokkaido, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Toshkio Asai her mother and Yoshimatsu Saida Asai her father. Beloved wife to Clarence James Wilkins. Loving mother to Marian Ayres and Cheryl (Rick) Kearney. Cherished grandmother to Ross (Shealynn), Sam, and Kaylyn Kearney and Steven, Mark, and Luke Ayres. Loving sister to Michio, Mamoru, Niykoi, and Yukio Asai, and Kanako Asai. Dear Mother-in-law to Timothy Ayres. She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Harumi was preceded in death by her sister Shinobu Dingess.

Harumi retired from  Burgettstown Area School District where she worked as a custodian and cook. Harumi loved to cook and garden. She was also a Steelers fan. Harumi will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
