Heather Lynn Vallone, age 47, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Beloved wife of Chris McDonald; loving mother of Dante Vallone McDonald; daughter of the late Thomas Stewart and Cindy Vallone; sister-in-law Lauren (the late Clifford, Jr.) Charrier and Jeff (Janelle) McDonald; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for a funeral service on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 3:00pm at Sixth Presbyterian Church 1688 Murray Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15217. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heather’s former employer Apraxia Kids 1501 Reedsdale St. Pittsburgh, PA 15233.

Heather was fierce but kind, a dedicated friend and coworker, sharp as a tack and smart as a whip. She always made me belly laugh with her biting wit. We shared so many memories and inside jokes. She was the most loving mother to Dante. She loved Chris with her whole heart and was so grateful to have him in her life. The world is certainly dimmer without her light.

Chris and Dante, our family sends love and sympathy in the loss of Heather. My dad and Heather’s grandmother were second cousins. Cindy and I were raised together, as were my son Jeff and Heather. My heart broke when I saw this announcement. Heather had the biggest heart, smartest brain, quickest wit and loyalty beyond all others. You are in our prayers.
