Helen Anne Kulenich, beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret Kulenich, and servant of Christ, passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 63. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, and a life-time resident of Bridgeville, she lived a life marked by her love of people.

Helen was known by many in the community. She was a talented Pastry Chef/Confectioner for 36 years at local Giant Eagle stores before retiring at the age of 56. She built lasting friendships with neighbors, classmates, bowling league groups, cruise ship friends, and fellow volunteers.

Helen’s love for parades began in childhood, when she and her mother would eagerly watch the colorful floats and lively marching bands together. That joy never faded – attending parades remained a treasured tradition throughout her life.

Helen found great joy in caring for others and cooking. She loved watching old black and white movies, listening to Doo Wop music, and reading murder mysteries and Harry Potter novels. Her collections included antiques, light house figurines, and walking sticks. Beyond her love for books and music, Helen was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed watching baseball and basketball.

In her later years, Helen delighted in dining out, savoring a variety of cuisines at local restaurants and enjoying the fellowship of church and community spaghetti dinners.

At this time of year, she could be found driving around admiring the Christmas lights, attending living nativities throughout the community, and enjoying one of many cultural events of the season.

Helen’s heart danced in the warmth of the Sun! Oceanfront beaches, the shores of Lake Erie, and LOTS of SunShine were her passion!

To sum up Helen’s life, Compassion + Action = Mercy. Her compassionate actions toward those in need, reflected her faith in Christ and these verses reveal her love for others.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ ~Matthew 25:34-36

Helen is survived by a large family of cousins.

Helen's light shown brightly and gave warmth for those near. The glisten in her eyes was catchy which you couldn't resist.

May Helen rest in peace. I enjoyed the last ten years or so reconnecting with her while planning our high school reunions. She definitely lived life to the fullest.
