Helen L. Neil

Helen L. Neil, of Whitehall, PA, passed away on June 22, 2024. She is the daughter of the late Howard and Josephine Neil.

Loving God mother of Shelley Walters, Megan Rhoades, and Natalie Florian. Sister to Linda Gardner. Beloved aunt to Shelley (Frank) Walters, John (Ellie) Neil II, Michael Neil, Bethany (Ken) Reed, Megan (Ben) Rhoades, and Natalie (Matt) Florian. Great aunt to Drake, Addi, Jacob, Ryan, Richelle, Cooper, Nora, Adriana, Emma, and Lucas.

She is preceded in death by her brother, John (Ruth Ann) Neil, and brother-in-law, David Gardner.

Helen’s favorite activities consisted of shopping with her sister, watching a good movie, and eating breakfast or lunch with friends. She also collected over 500 elephants, some of which were from her trips to India. Helen was also passionate about supporting the veterans and seeing pictures of her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Catholic Burial will be held Saturday, July 27th at 10AM at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery (401 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15236). All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
