I send my heartfelt sympathy to the DeLong family and extended family members. I pray that your sweet memories of Herk will comfort you during this very difficult time. I will always remember him as a kind and compassionate man who never failed to make me laugh. He was a sweet brother-in-law to me and I know he deeply loved all of his family. May he now rest in the loving hands of God. Prayers and love to all, Sharon DeLong

I’m so so sorry for the loss of Herk to everyone that loves him. He was a great guy. I remember Herk as an uncle that was always so kind and welcoming. I remember the first time I met him at my childhood home when my Aunt Ann brought him over and he showed me the trick where he made it look like his thumb was unattached to his one hand. He always had a good joke to tell and a sense of humor!

Our deepest Sympathy to Ann and Family. Herk was quite the guy, we'll miss his crazy "cop" stories and tasty meals. God Bless.
