Idolo F. Daniel

Idolo F. Daniel, age 76, of Bethel Park formerly of Aliquippa passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, Julia Geiger-Daniel, on January 10, 2023.

Born as Idolo F. Pucci Daniele on December 12, 1946, he was the son of Maria and Salvatore Daniele.

He was the beloved husband of Julia Daniel. Father of Maria Daniel, Christopher (Karen) Daniel and Silvania Daniel; step father to Gemma Claire and Robert John Traupman. Grandfather of Melina Daniel. Dear brother of Joe Daniel, the late Florindo “Flea” Daniele, Carmella and Elena Rodriguez. Best friend to Smitty aka Yelo, and Nino Refice, who were like brothers to Idolo.

Idolo was an executive chef during his time in the Army during the Vietnam War. He loved kronkin karaoke, baking bread, gardening, spending quality time with his friends and family, and he and his wife devoted their free time to helping others in need.

Memorial  contributions may be made to his wife, Julia Daniel.

A Veteran’s Memorial Celebration will be taking place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
