James Charles DeThomas Sr., age 75, of Canonsburg, passed away on August 5, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marlena Klezia DeThomas.
He was born on December 11, 1946 in Canonsburg, PA and 2nd oldest of 12 children of the late Arthur and Adelaide DeThomas.
James was the father of daughter Tammy Chastain and son James DeThomas Jr. and his wife Galia DeThomas; brother of Edward DeThomas, Nicola DeThomas, Frank DeThomas, Robert DeThomas, Richard DeThomas, Joseph DeThomas, John DeThomas, and Janice DeThomas; and Grandfather of 3 grandchildren, and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Toni Rose DeThomas, Arthur DeThomas Jr., and Diane M. Byrd.
James spent his leisure time riding his motorcycle with his friends and family, and building model cars.
At the family’s request all services will be private.
