James “Jim” Christoff

James “Jim” Joseph Christoff, 87, of Collier Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 24, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to the late Sandra “Sandi” Louise (Gigliotti) Christoff.

Born on July 14, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Jim was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Vilish) Christoff.

Jim was the loving father of Joseph Christoff (Debbra), Jeffrey Christoff (Cynthia), and Jami Jodikinos (Gene Royle); Grandfather of James Christoff (Shelby), Kobe Christoff, Tyler Christoff, Aleeya Christoff, Albert Jodikinos (Jocelyn), Joshua Jodikinos (Natalee), and Maria Jodikinos (Benjamin Hysong); Great-grandfather of Ethan Jodikinos, Elliona Jodikinos, Kaden Hysong, and McKenna Hysong. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Jean Best.

Jim and Sandi were the longtime owners and operators of Christoff Greenhouses and Farm for more than 60 years. Jim remained actively engaged in all aspects of the seasonal family business until his passing, often greeting customers at the greenhouses with a smile and a story or sharing a laugh with clients at farmers’ markets throughout the Pittsburgh area. His legacy will continue through the business, now carried on by his daughter, Jami, as Christoff Flowers & CSAs.
