James “Jim” Peter Bevan, Sr.

James “Jim” Peter Bevan, Sr., age 76 of Peters Township, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2019. Born on March 12, 1943, he was of the late Alma and Ralph Bevan. Beloved husband to Janice Bevan four 54 years. Loving father to James “Pete” (Debbie) Bevan, Jr. Cherished grandfather to Tyler (Deanna) and Jami Bevan, Michael Lastauckas and the late Dustin Rex. Loving brother to Ralph (Donna) Bevan. He will also be dearly missed by the Kramer family.

Jim graduated from St. Joseph High School in Mount Oliver, PA. He worked as a salesmans for over 47 years. Upon retirement, Jim enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 2 PM – 4 PM and 6 PM – 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
