James Marino DeJohn

James Marino DeJohn passed away peacefully in his home on August 27, 2024, after two and a half years of living with glioblastoma. Jim was born on May 10, 1954 in Canonsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marino and Catherine DeJohn, and his brother John (Skee).

Jim was a 1972 graduate of Canon Mac where he was a member of the wrestling and football teams.
He retired from Aquatech in 2019 after twenty two years as a shipping/receiving manager.

Surviving are the love of his life, his wife Melissa; sons J.T. (Edisa) and David (Tori) DeJohn.
Jim’s greatest joy was his grandchildren Camden, Cecilia, Jack, Demetrius and Rylan.

Jim was blessed to have many people by his side as he journeyed through life; relatives Tommy DeJohn, Johnny DeJohn, Della Hritsko, Shirley Broglia, sister in law Brenda DeJohn, niece Katie Gardner and nephew Luke DeJohn and many others.

Jim was a long time member of the Washington Cruisers Car Club and could often be seen driving his 1968 Camaro to a show.

A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at a later date.

Missy, JT, and David, My deepest sympathies to all of you. I went to grade school with Jim. This is a very sad day. Remember all the special memories that all of you created with him. Keep Jim's spirit alive. He's in heaven watching over all of you. You're in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
