James William Hazi Sr., 80, of Washington, PA, passed away on June 28, 2024.

James was born on February 15, 1944, in Hazelwood, PA, to the late Mildred and James Hazi Sr.

James was the beloved husband of 58 years to Nancy, the love of his life. Together, they built a beautiful family. He was the loving father to Lori Robson, beloved grandfather to Billy, Shawn, Shane, Rylee, Katie Rose, Mackenzie, and Ryan, cherished great grandfather to Layla and Harper and dear brother to Johnny Hazi, Dorothy (Larry) Goyak, Carol (George) Godish, Pat (Ed) Stanko, and Denise (Steve) Czarny. James is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James was preceded in death by his sons, James Hazi and Nicholas Hazi, and his brother, Robert Hazi.

James was a hardworking man who loved his family. He owned his own plumbing business for 37 years and also worked hard in the Gas and oil field and building houses. In his free time, he loved attending auctions and searching eBay. However, James’s true joy was the time he spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A gathering of family and friends are welcome on Monday July 8, 2024 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W. Chestnut Street, Washington, PA 15301. At the family’s request, they ask everyone to please meet at the church on Tuesday.  Burial to follow at Washington Cemetery, 498 Park Avenue, Washington, PA 15301

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Circle Food Pantry, 65 Cherry Way, Washington, PA 15301

I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers for your family. Lori talked about her father a lot. He built her house out of love ❤️ to her and her kids to be safe,he can watch over them.
