Jane Page Jacobs

Jane Page Jacobs, age 94, passed away peacefully with her family by her
side on January 5, 2018. Born on June 20, 1923 in Trenton, NJ, she was
the daughter of the late Grace (Wobbe) and Winfield Scott Page.

She was the beloved wife of the late G. Robert Jacobs; loving mother of
Judith Lynn Jacobs (Christopher Boyle), Linda Jacobs (Mark) Baumiller,
and Robert Page Jacobs; cherished grandmother of Rod Jacobs, Rolana
Jacobs (Hunter) Hoffman, Joshua Baumiller, Jacob Baumiller (Kelly
Swindell), and Grace Baumiller; and great-grandmother of Colton,
Cason, and Charlotte Hoffman.

Jane was a 1945 Penn State Graduate and an avid Penn State follower. She
loved having her feet in the sand and the sun on her face. She enjoyed
her backyard birds, flowers from the garden, homemade applesauce and a
fiercely competitive game of Parcheesi. She taught her children that
they could do anything they set their minds to do.  Jane taught
elementary school and a generation of preschool children at the Trinity
Weekday School. She was a volunteer at Meals on Wheels and a member of
the Giant Oaks Garden Club for many years.

A celebration of life will be held February 10, 2018 at 11am at Trinity United Methodist Church in McMurray, PA.
