Jeffrey Michael Openbrier, 68, of Midway, PA, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026. Born June 11, 1957, in Midway, he was the son of the late Mary Margaret Schiller and Dennis Dewey.
Jeff was the beloved husband of the late Diane L. Openbrier. He was a loving father to Jeffrey M. Openbrier II and proud grandfather to Caycee Openbrier. He is survived by his siblings Ken Openbrier, Mark Openbrier, Robin Russo, and Darlene Schultz, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister, the late Margaret “Peg” Claire.
Known as “Slim,” Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, Blues music, camping, and attending dog shows with Diane. He will be missed by those who loved him.
All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
