Jeremy Holmes

Jeremy Holmes, age 26, of Washington, passed away on January 26, 2018 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was born on May 8, 1991 in Pittsburgh.

Beloved son of Suzanne and William Strnisha Jr. and Thomas and Beverly Holmes. Dear brother of Travis Holmes, James R. Fuller, and Mariah Strnisha. Loving step brother of Melodee Sharbutt, and Kenneth McIlroy II. Cherished grandson of Robert and Artie Dupke and Judy Coulter. He was also blessed with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeremy’s interested included computer gaming and watching crime tv shows. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to spend time fishing and camping. He was a pokemon fan, and his favorite character was Pikachu. Jeremy traveled vicariously through means of Google Earth. He was the happiest when he was spending time with friends and family. He will be sorely missed by his favorite companion, Gigi the black cat.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. Friends and family are welcome on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 2-6pm with a service to follow.
